The Dems want solar panels in the coronavirus Bill. Why don't the Republicans insist on National Reciprocity in the Bill?

Not this again. National Reciprocity passed by congress is and always has been smoke and mirrors.

Any state is free to not enforce , or even recognize an act of congress . And many would.

Thats just a fact. Please stop falling for that same old lie .

from the beginning national reciprocity has only been a political flag waver to get votes from citizens who didn't the fine print...

let the concept die the ugliest death it can to get out of the limelight...

Respecting "shall not be infringed" will obviate "national reciprocity."
Yeah. I guess we can wait until the electrical grid of NY collapses, and the international airports are sold to the Mexicans because of the emergency need for hard currency, and two hurricanes hit back-to-back before they have an epiphany just like Puerto Rico did a few months ago. Yeah, we can keep waiting for that.

Fact is if NR was passed yesterday it would not change anything except let the feds stick their nose into a forbidden area of states rights.
States that dont recognize each others permits still will not have too. Nothing will be gained , and more ground lost.

and these out of the blue scenarios you mentioned has a rat's derrière to the previously introduced national reciprocity bill presented in our national legislation three [3] years ago.

I agree that waiting for states like NY to come to their senses on their own is an alternative. It did happen in Puerto Rico recently....... after a total collapse of the economy, infrastructure, law and order, several natural disasters, and 125 years. Yeah, you propose a viable alternative.

Simple fact. Congress being allowed to step on states rights by passing NR is the worst thing that could happen to the RTKABA .

And it will accomplish nothing.

whom is this passage gonna benefit? government to raise revenue...
1. 43.5 percent of Puerto Ricans are living below the poverty line.
2. The unemployment rate of Puerto Ricans is 10.1 percent as of April 2017
3. Puerto Rico is unable to provide its citizens with effective support due to its crippling debt. The island has a debt of approximately 123 billion dollars.
4. Puerto Rico’s drinking water system has been tested and found with elevated levels of bacteria and chemicals as of May 2017. The drinking water has also failed lead safety regulations. Meanwhile, 70 percent of the island is served by that same water.

so this great event is assisting the populace how?

There are no legitimate 'state's rights' regarding the right to keep and bear arms. The 2nd Amend. is complete.

You are badly mistaken sir.
The RTKABA preceded the 2A and this nation as a preexisting right. That was even acknowledged by SCOTUS.
The Federal and state gov are forbidden to interfere with it by the 2A though the judiciary has done so.

The states are bound by the COTUS as it was born of a convention of states , but not acts of congress. Settled law in 4 SCOTUS decisions.
An act of congress requiring states to do anything is not binding on any state that does not wish to enforce it.

as rehashed...
1. which training standard will be used to certify citizens?
2. will live exercises be mandated...to what standard?
3. will national standards list the singular caliber of the style of handgun citizen's can carry like in NM or the entire spectrum of handguns?
4. will firearm's cartridges be limited like 10 ?
5. will citizen's extra mags be controlled.
6. will a representative put a provision in trying to impeach the President?

the current state of our nation's legislative body has been the most ineffective to date and you wanta trust them at deciphering a national any thing?

In New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy has not only banned gun stores from operating but also shut down the state's background check system, which effectively eliminates all legal sales of guns there. The Second Amendment Foundation and the New Jersey Second Amendment Society have filed a federal lawsuit against Murphy's ban and are hoping to expedite it through the courts.
Here is the complaint. https://freebeacon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/01-Complaint.pdf
Here is paragraph 17 and note that they refer to Footnote 26.
17. In Heller, the Supreme Court did not intend "to cast doubt on . . . laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms," which are “examples” of “presumptively lawful regulatory measures.” Heller, 554 U.S. at 626-27 & n.26.
Now read what I wrote that same day.
See how Footnotes are important in court cases.
