Just thought I would comment on how nice it was open carrying. Since I was out here to visit my girlfriend at WSU I made sure I brought my Sig Sauer 229 just for this special gold star state OC adventure! Needless to say, I carried in Applebees and Wal Mart and noone cared one bit. No odd stares, no second glances. Real refreshing since I am from Western Washington and I feel like a social outcast open carrying. Anyway, just thought I would say you guys have a nice, friendly OC additude and wish it applied to everywhere else. :)

I will definitely do that. She is usually busy doing her college stuff anyway. I'll tell you that while I'm looking forward to meeting a fellow OC'er, I am not looking forward to that 5-6 hour drive again! All the way from Seattle kills me and makes my bladder hurt. :cry:

It was so nice. In Washington even though it is completely legal to OC there is so much misinformation in the local LEO community about it's legality that one might still feel hesitant. OC'in in Idaho knowning that it was completely legal gave courage to do it more so here. It was a very liberating experiance and I look forward to visiting your state again ASAP. Nice people, too!
