I'm not sure how I feel about this article. On the one hand, some of the statistics match previous sources, but on the other hand, part of his approach doesn't settle well.

The one thing none of us who OC like to hear are reports of cops shooting us simply because they see a firearm. With OC becoming more prevalent, law enforcement everywhere must face their absolutely necessary albeit steep learning curve so they can respect the right of the people to keep and bear arms without infringing on that right, particularly when they seem to have a penchant for shooting us.

I dunno. Your thoughts on the article?

Much of the problem is uneducated, untrained leos, that have no regard for individual constitutional liberties/rights. However yes indeed folks of color that open carry are in my opinion " target practice" for scared uneducated, untrained leos.. The incidents mentioned in the article in time will be multiplied and don't be surprised if there are some white faces among the victims.. Until the justice system starts holding murderers of innocent citizens accountable, the number of death by leo's will rise and I fear skin color will not matter..

In my humble opinion law abiding citizens of color who wish to exercise their " right to keep and bear arms" would be prudent to CC so as to avoid being "target practice". It is a disgrace that in America law abiding folks must be fearful about how they exercise their right to keep and bear arms.
