We expect the first gun bill of 2013, SB 60, to arrive at governor's desk today and be signed into law later this week. This non-controversial bill makes a correction in the types of FFLs exempt from some requirements of Michigan law, such as the need for their customers to obtain purchase permits. All FFLs will now have those exemptions rather than just Class 1 FFLs.
it passed the House 75-34 with 2/3rds of the Democratic Caucus voting against this very non-controversial bill.
