Oc'ed last Saturday with my daughter to Kersher Mall in Nampa. I walked all the way up and down the mall and then was approached by an elderly "unarmed" security guard who asked me if I had a permit for my pistol. The fact he was about 70 years old, unarmed, and pretty fragil made me giggle as I informed him I was just OCing and explained that it is legal in the state of Idaho to Open Carry and offered him a tri-fold. He refused the tri-fold but to make him feel better I told him I had my CCW and that I used to work for the State Prison. He didn't have a gun, radio, or anything and couldn't run fast, heck he probably should have had a cain.

Have carried there many times and never been asked or questioned about it. I do see the "Security" personel there, but, may have had so much distance between us that they forgot on their way to talk to me or ran out of oxygen.

One of my favorite places there is Northern Lights Cinemas. Very OC friendly and fun place for movie and dinner at the same time!

Second the vote for Northern Lights Cinema! Extremely pleasant and supportive folks. When you visit, be sure to tell them you appreciate their support for the 2A.

I have carried there in the main hallway dozens of times and never been approached, much less questioned.

OC'd there many times with no problems. Just a couple weeks ago I went to the Fred Meyer in nampa, and as I was checking out, I was asked by the cashier "if I had a permit". Before I could answer the lady behind me, about 75 years young, responded that in Idaho you do not need a permit to OC. I was pleasantly suprised and proceeded to coroberate the facts. The cashier was very receptive and was glad that we took the time to let her know.

Wow! That's awesome! Have carried there myself. I must have been in invisible mode like when I am at the counter at a gun shop or other store. Counter people walk by and don't see me waving my hands for help.
