yes 19%
no 80%

I wonder if this poll is broken or fixed. I saw the numbers go up 200 and the percentages never changed from the above. Even if 80% disapproved I would think the percentage would bounce around.

Yep said that to me too after I voted. 80% and 19% only equals 99%. Where is the other 1%. Does this poll seem fishy to you guys?

Well they do have the "This is a non-scientific user poll. Results are not statistically valid and cannot be assumed to reflect the views of Washington Post users as a group or the general population" disclaimer/fine-print.

Also, it appears your can vote repeatedly without having to clear cookies/cache/etc like more reliable polling systems.

More than one vote doesn't seem to register as it always says it has the same amount of votes after the first one.

Make sure you have a roll of duct tape handy if you start reading the comments. I'd try to rebut some but 1) it would be a waste of time and 2) there isn't enough time in a fortnight to do so properly.

You'v got to remember, this poll is on the Washignton Post's website--perhaps the most leftist, anti-Constitutional, anti-liberty newspaper in the Eastern USA. The majority of its readership in VA are namby-pamby nanny-stater carpetbaggers, and sheeple from MD and DC. In other words, the majority of the people who read the Post hate liberty, and actually expect the Government to provide for them...

It's sad, really...

I will admit, I think I threw up in my mouth a few times when I read some of the frothing anti-2A comments...

But I left a comment for "our side"--guess which one?...

The "yes" votes have skyrocketed since the link was sent out in the VCDL alert. From 19% to 32%, keep it going!!

edit - up to 43% yes!
