municipal insurance

Interesting..I was sure that "pool" was the state pool...learn something every day.

I will stand by the other part though (until your wife states otherwise, but I would be very surprised...if it is "willfully illegal" (they knew it was illegal and did it anyway) it isn't covered.

Anyway...I sent an email to jim Campbell, and thanked him for his stand...suggest everyone else does too.

Very interesting thread - stumbled on it today.

The best way to find out what the policy covers is to get a copy. If your state has Open Records legislation, a copy should be easily available.

If the policy only covers "negligent" acts, then willful violation of statutory law would presumably be excluded from coverage. However, I deal only property/casualty policies - I have no experience in municipal policies, which likely are more along the line of Errors & omissions insurance. I'm sure this policy is a very different animal.

Chapter 1 - get the policy and read it. Then post the "insuring agreement" here. Once you read the insuring agreement, then go to the "Exclusions" section. The insuring agreement tells you what's covered initially - the exclusions then carve out specific acts from coverage.

Looking forward to reading it.

Myself and at least two members of my family will be in attendance. We will all be carrying concealed. If anyone else has the time to make it, your support would be greatly appreciated.

I put in for the day off so I can go, might even drag the wife along. I will NOT be concealing

If they're going to bolt at the mere thought of a lawfully armed citizen in their midst, we can simply use their own leftists tactics against them and prevent them from voting incorrectly by scaring them away LOL

I looked at the different council meeting dates and it looks like he attends 3. Tues, Wed and a Fri meeting. The Tues is the city council the other two are the committees he is on. Looks like I just might start to enjoy all these public meetings.

I think it is a wonderful hobby that most people do not take advantage of. You pay money to watch the Mariners lose a game. It is fun, and I love to see Larry Bernandezs pitching. The Local government is much more participatory and it is free to attend. Sometimes you have the people of walmart there and sometimes it is great discussion. It is always a way to exercise Citizenship. We are the Government, and We are Armed. Citizenship is a Verb, do it, it's fun.

THIS is why I liked you.

You hit the nail on the head. It is 'free' entertainment.

A friend and I shut down all the in person town meetings for those who are campaigning. We would show up and ask real questions. We would expose lies and after a couple of round of that they stopped showing up in public meetings so they would not have to answer the hard questions.

They would claim they would do this or that... We would ask where they would get the authority to do this or that.
They would say something about taxes and we would bring the facts and ask them about tax liabilities.

I searched for this thread after seeing this video on Facebook. (Note to users: see? You *can* find an existing thread in the relevant forum section without starting a new one somewhere else!)

This is just of the citizen's comments, through to adjournment.

This kind of thing is happening all over. This will make it even more important to prevail over the fear these people have of LACs. If the eyes of the Country will be upon us, we should make a concerted effort to be clear and succinct when we speak at the meeting. Even if you do not speak, your presence alone may garner the support needed to stop this anti gun virus that is plaguing us all. Dress well, speak well, and carry a pistol at your side.

Lucas just passed this on:
CALLING ALL FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF THE 2ND AMENDMENT!!! A reliable source has informed me that there is a group planning to flood city hall before the meeting on the 5th that concerns the 2nd amendment. Their goal is to prevent 2nd amendment supporters from accessing the building and speaking for their rights. They want to force their gun regulation agenda on the council and the city of Oak Harbor. If you would like to join me in making a difference and take a stand for our rights please PM me and let me know. We must not allow this to happen. We must be heard. Please share this information with all of your friends. Carry on Brothers!
