Not only quite nicely designed but, just barely more than less ruggedly designed recorders. That just might be the next replacement I get.

I own one, bought off of eBay for $55-60 (MD80). It's pretty cool.

The battery time isshorter than advertised, about 1 hour, 20 minutes. The battery is internal, so there is no hot-swapping of batteries.

Audio and video are decent.

The battery is what deters me. otherwise seems like a nice product and a good price for video.
