blast from the past, 2014 commentary on Lobby day...

notice the chit chat of OCDO members about who they got to talk to...

such commentary is missing out of this year's event's posting?

why? didnt anybody chat with a legislative member or staff? wasn't that the main purpose of Lobby day?

you bemoan this member's participation as the reason you shun this platform ~ sorry the BS flag is thrown...you mean all the folk around you kind folk are nice, believe as you do, and don't criticize your bloody nonsense ~ really? [please share so everyone can be lethargic and don't give a rat's derrièr]

get over it, pull your kickers up and move forward...and communally come up with continuity of purpose for a singular goal and plan it out well ~ brag, publicly on this here venue, how great it was so others, members or not, can read what fun you had meeting so & so, or this OCDO member or that, or how big the youn's have gotten, take and share photos out here etc., thus stirring up enthusiasm for others to want to attend future such celebration.

otherwise you'll rue the legislative outcome

Well, you do need a legislator to show-up to lobby. The legislators and Governor were hunkered down in some undisclosed location. Will they heed the message? And, was the message "I'll be back" conveyed?

seems some 30 +/- anti advocates stayed overnight in the chambers of select legislators ...

wonder why VCDL advocates weren't offered the same arrangements?

oh right the publicity of hosting the anti advocates has more appeal?

The safest position is to sit at ones computer and do Monday morning quarter backing and take pot shots at those who are making an effort to effect a change for better.

hummm...ya know American Patriot, seems interesting YOU had the audacity to take a pot shot by throw that rock, especially since there is not one of your sparse postings from you over the years where you posted anything about championing absolutely any position of change or truly anything out here!

so what change American Patriot, from your perception, was affected in Richmond during Monday's Lobby day? Any legislator state "oh my goodness guess i can'/won't consider this anti legislature in this session?"

cheers...

There are indications that the rally will have little effect on the agenda of the liberals currently ensconced in the state capital. Virginians must wait for the next election day. Perhaps the tide will turn the day after election day. I suspect that a red flag law, if enacted, will not be repealed. Weapons bans and accessory bans will have a better chance at being repealed.

Good luck Virginia...
