• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.

... would it be possible/easy to create a map of concealed-carry issue policies by state? All I can find is the progression of the adoption of issue policies; however, states like Hawaii have CC laws but are effectively no-issue states. I thinkit might behelpful to those here, as many OCers also CC. The levels might be "no-issue", "effectively no-issue", "may-issue", "effectively shall-issue", "shall-issue"; the three middle ones are of course levels of "may-issue" policy.

A map of CC reciprocity may also be helpful, but I grant that it would be a more complex undertaking; maybe a table of recognized licenses and states where recognized could be added to the state stat pages.
