I just wanted to say a note of thanks to some of the people at this past weekend’s events. The group as a whole was great, but there were three people in particular (Pheonixphire, autosurgeon, and Sprinklerguy28) that I would like to thank for what they did for me.

I had not originally planned to go to the BC M&G, so I did not know that the plans included a trip to the shooting range. As such, I was unprepared to go to the range, and had no ammo to plink, or any other shooting supplies. Pheonixphire was kind enough to give me almost two boxes of 9mm Blaser to shoot, and when I tried to offer something in return/trade, he wouldn’t accept. In today’s market with ammo costing what it does, combined with the availability, I think that was not only very kind, but also generous of him.

After I finished shooting up all the 9mm that Pheonixphire had given me, autosurgeon offered to let me shoot a .22 that he had, and happily supplied me with the ammo to do so. I usually like experiencing new things, and since I’d never shot a small .22 revolver, I was excited about the prospect, so I took him up on his offer.

Then, just before I was going to exit the range, Sprinklerguy28 offered to let me shoot a magazine out of his gun. Of course I was only too happy to do so since I’d been wondering about those guns since they came out, and had not yet shot one of them.
Just hanging out with everyone was enjoyment enough, but your generous contributions made the day all that much better for me. Thanks a bunch guys.

That little gun has given me many hours of cheap fun! It cost about 160.00 OTD in late 08 and of course ammo is cheap so what more can I ask for

Anyway the only problem with it is everyone who tries it wants one :celebrate

i would like to extend my thanks to kimberguy for taking me and my gf to the battle creek event, and letting us shoot several magazines out of two different firearms, and then out for pizza next to the lansing south precinct

i had a great time with everybody,i never expected to see the battle creek event get that much positive public attention!

only thing negative i can really think about the battle creek event is how the police handled the mongolian bbq sign thing illegally, other than that they did what they should do,observe from a distance and only confront if there is a genuine, legal reason to.

I will have to look into them a little bit more, I like the fact that the Cylinders are interchangable. I also like the fact that it is a Derringer/Ruger Blackhawk together, I think that is pretty cool.

My buddy bought a Heritage Rough Rider for $60. It's a lot of fun to plink with. It's kind of goofy considering it's the only single action pistol I've ever seen with a safety.
