hummm, guess that makes you the “...state of mind” of the lonestar’s understanding of the nuance(s) of their statutes, including state admistrative governance codes, where you just summarily dismissed, is what is posted on the website about no weapons allowed and further, as grape kindly pointed out, is while the city of Dallas owns the property the state fair is held on, the property is leased out to private entity (the state fair of Texas a 501c non profit) to facilitate the organization, admistration, as well as operation of the fair.

further, the inital thrust of my commentary in this thread was to point out the lack of research done by a singular member who stated and post significant misinformation that “most states allow firearms in their state fairs” and 10 were found, quite quickly actually, which do not...
fine, get your panties into a knot about your perception of what “no weapons” means, on the clearly stated information about one of the ones i found...i personnally do not give a rat’s derrière...
bottom line...to tell our readers “most allow” is to do our readers and his silly BS wantabe blog readership a tremendous disservice!
