Does anyone know what happened to the Virginia1774 website?

There was a website, Virginia1774 dot org (DO NOT TRY TO GO THERE, the site is abandoned, and it appeared to try to send me malware!)

They hosted a library of civil liberty references, history, court cases, and documents. The last reference on this forum is from 2012.

Anybody have any idea what happened to it?

TFred, probably lost for posterity...sorry!

Unless you know the owner(s) who might have maintained a backup of the material...

It appears to have been archived by the Wayback Machine Internet Archive. The most recent archive I saw was from March 20, 2018. On that date, their website shows the last update as Feb. 5, 2013. I don't know how complete the archive is, but it can be found here:

Wow, thanks. It looks like the static links were captured, but not sure about the drop-down links. It'll take a bit of work to see if I can dig those out, and that's where most of the good stuff was.

Appreciate the work!

I believe that was the project of Mr. Rudolph DiGiacinto, of DiGiacinto v. George Mason University fame. I wonder what's become of him. He's a terrific researcher and pretty good historian.

I'm sure google has it.
There's a web archive, but it's a bit painful to navigate, because the links inside the top page do not get automatically mapped to the archive space.

I did find the page I was looking for, about the Virginia Supreme Court ruling that the law's definition of courthouse is limited to only those areas of a building actually used for the courts.
