I was wondering if anyone has seen the change of address forms from the WVSP website. Does anyone know if a written letter within 20 days of change of location is still good enough?

Yes i realize that..my question is whether or not you have to use the form or if you can just send the sheriff a letter stating that you've changed your address.

WV Code
" (l) Whenever any person after applying for and receiving a concealed handgun license moves from the address named in the application to another county within the state, the license remains valid for the remainder of the five years: Provided, That the licensee within twenty days thereafter notifies the sheriff in the new county of residence in writing of the old and new addresses.

What if you change your address within the same county?

Send it certified, heck it could be handwritten on a napkin. No special form necessary per state code.
