Can anyone tell me or provide a link with info on what the legal way to carry my pistol is without a CPL in a vehicle in Washington state? All I can find it saying is that it can't be loaded but what does that mean? Can it be unloaded in my holster? Does it have to be in the glove box, a lock box ect? Any info is appreciated thanks

Guess if you don’t like the answer to your originally stated question you just change the parameter(s) and post it someplace.

Redbear20, as stated in the other thread

YOU CAN NOT W/O a CPL
(2)(a) A person shall not carry or place a loaded pistol in any vehicle unless the person has a license to carry a concealed pistol and: (i) The pistol is on the licensee's person, (ii) the licensee is within the vehicle at all times that the pistol is there, or (iii) the licensee is away from the vehicle and the pistol is locked within the vehicle and concealed from view from outside the vehicle.

I posted in both before I got an answer because I wasn't sure where to post the question and then couldn't figure out how to delete one so there wasn't 2 if you looked at the time stamp on both posts they are both before you answered on the other thread and the only "rewording" was the title since the post was copy pasted from one to the other
