Something like this did happen to me in the Freedom gas station in Prescott a number of years ago. The cashier refused to let me purchase alcohol for my them 18yr old bec she thought it was a sting operation. we left and went to another business and got one can of beer. A short while later my chief buddy who was a patrol Sargent back then called me and came over. We went down to the gas station together in his cruiser bec the cashier had accused me of flashing my gun. I asked him to request the security tapes. He lectured her about violating my constitutional rights bec what she said did not happen. She was fired from her job.
However the difference is that I was in Prescott where all the cops know me also. In your case you were a stranger in a bigger city or suburbs so they had to be cautious. Follow the advice given in your post.

Does your chief buddy still give you free ammo as you stated in previous posts?

fortunately, my first response didn't post...

feeling jealous over my activities causing an individual to lose their livelihood ~ never happen...never will!!

but wait, your story has morf'd...

let's see a number of years ago the term 'terrorist' was used by JQPublic in reference to someone carrying a firearm?

let's see how did you know there was a man with a gun called against you after you tried to buy a beer?

let's see the repercussions in MN for calling in a bogus 911 call is termination by their employer? hummm, now how on earth did said employer hear about it? oh wait, never mind i remember you caused the rucus.

finally, what liability could/would/might have resulted when the nice LEs in this country have wounded/killed community citizens throughout our county...not to mention pulling its citizens from their vehicle at gun point and putting the citizens on the ground arms/legs spread.

so to have the audacity to say the employer was spared the law suit is absolutely ridiculous!!

Call the chief. He'll verify the story. The truth is she was fired. Anyway you are jealous about the incident that I got away without any suspicion. The video exonerated me.

Feeling jealous?? LOL No I used my brain and got the now Chief to look at the security tapes. She had called 911 saying a terrorist who speaks English well with a gun was on the loose. Deputies from Washington county, MN Pierce county WI and the entire police dept of Prescott showed up. She gave a wrong description of the car, which by the way, coincidentally was just driving by. It was stopped and the driver pulled out at gunpoint. Everyone was confused. She got fired for being a liability to the company. So I saved them mega bucks. I mean the guy pulled out at gun point could have sued everyone involved.

Saved them megabucks? You should be suing the company and her. You may still have time to sue. Zero chance that this girl and company would not be sued if me.

still not sure what you in your mis-perception of reality would lead you to believe i would be jealous off any purported activities you self report that you engage in, but i see you continue to brag as your story continues to morf...

let's see you didn't have any suspicion from anybody but you were exonerated? do you truly realize how irrational your statements have been while discussing this supposed incident from your memory?

Oh, what a tangled web we weave: When first we practise to deceive! (my apologies to Scott)

Interesting. We filed several open records request in Hales Corners this morning. Asked for records dating back several months and about several different types of incidents.
Didn't expect an immediate response but got one within the day. I was really interested in what the official version of this incident was. I wanted to see if there was any CYA things happening on behalf of the cops. But.....

Nothing.

We found no records of the incident the OP described.

But before any sovereign citizen types get their dander up, keep in mind there are several legitimate reasons why this could be.

Or they deleted records or did no search at all .. lalala who knows?

Ask again in a month .. you may get a different response.

We were there for most of the records search. They did them. And this is a municipal police department, not Hillary Clinton. Thought not impossible it's highly unlikely records that were entered were deleted. It's an incredibly complex operation to delete entries on systems like that, the average employee can't do it.

*We (my associate and I) thought we had the OP's actual name and date of birth. The name/DOB combo came back with no contacts ever. It's not required to have a name for a records search but it sure helps, especially since we didn't have an exact date, location, or officer(s) name.

*IMHO the most obvious answer is we overlooked something and that's why we came up empty.

*It's very possible the officer didn't turn in his FI card so the info didn't get entered. I've mistakenly left some of mine in my notebook or in my squad briefcase. It's not nefarious if unintentional. But if there is a dispatch log then eventually an officer has to turn in any cards he has or face disapline.

*Possibly the original call was something not normally associated with this type of incident. We only checked calls in the last several months that might be related. There are thousands of calls and without an actual name to go on we certainly couldn't search every call. If the OP was stopped because he looked too young to be carrying that might have originated as a CHIPS call, which come in every day. No way could we look at all of those.

*While this took place in Hales Corners, is it possible it wasn't a H.C. cop? This would explain why Hales Corners PD seems to have no record. Not long before the OP first posted there was a "night out" event in Hales Corners where several different agencies were in the vicinity.

*Some other reason I haven't thought of.

Like I said before, the most obvious reason we came up empty is because we overlooked something or didn't look for the proper type of incident.
But....there may be one more reason why we came up with no official report on this incident. I'll let you all decide what that is.

pkbites, you have succeeded in proving beyond a shadow of doubt your blue brethren are clear of any possible wrong doing...but as stated we do not care!

tho it might have been interesting to have listened to the dialogue amongst the nice folk in blue regarding having a 'fellow officer' from another jurisdiction come into the village hall 'wanting' to see records on their nice LE's activities in a village of 7.7K pop, covering 3.2 sq. miles. did you show them your shiny badge to get personalized service while your waited?

the excuses you proffered were illuminating and humorous...especially the one the bloke forgot to file it...truly outrageous!

what comes to mind on your pursuing this is the ending of an 1899 children's book, paraphrasing, You chased each other around a tree until they are reduced to a pool of melted butter.

additionally, as nightmare pointed out...much ado about nothing.

kudos to the OP...

Nope. No one had any idea who I was.

One doesn't file an F.I. card, one turns them in and the info eventually gets entered into a data base for department use only. An F.I. card is not the same as a report.

much ado about nothing.

Are you insinuating the OP's story never happened?

Butter decomposes, becomes rancid, to butyric or butanoic acid. Beans' notable contribution to flatus is hydrogen sulfide H2S. There is no comparison.

Back when real chemistry was taught in high school, I learned to make butyric acid. Others in the class conspired to put some in our then-famous swimming pool. When found out, they ditched the test tube over the fence behind the pool where the retching odor lingered for weeks.

Still making a stink are we? :p

That is your problem then, the Mk 14 was fueled with methanol -- and that will make you go blind and grow hair on your palms. An acute dose of 10 ml will destroy the optic nerve and 30 ml is deadly.

Our crime was raisin jack in the 15 gallon radioactive collection bottles stored between the mains, then vacuum distilled. Our weapons were fueled with hydrogen peroxide, electrically or with mono-propellant.
33 pint fuel tank, a buddy in the torpedo shop along with me and a few other Southerners supplying the required amount of fuel, Ethanol, from home...yes, he got his cut before fueling operations.

I understand that snipes are a wee bit unknowledgeable of the mystical inner workings of the ordinance rates.

Liked to run ~10 ft too deep, adjustable though. Circled back sometime, could be bad if you had a working detonator. Magnetic exploders going boom too early. Anyway, they were hold overs and were on the boat for about a year. Got rid of them right after we got back from our 2nd northern run in 8 months, Jan-Fed 1980 upkeep New London, and the coldest day to off-load I have had the displeasure to experience.
