Armed citizen stops, kills robber in Milwaukee, WI

The amazing thing here is that so far, the press seems to be reasonably positive toward the armed citizen.

One news outlet did neglect to mention that the person who died was an armed robber and the "shooter" was a lawfully-armed citizen with a ccl.

Pretty sure the customer DIDNT have a registered firearm unless he was maybe from Illinois? Otherwise, have not heard this story until now.

No way to register a firearm in Wisconsin, but maybe Ty, the owner got that part wrong. Unless that is a Milwaukee thing I am unaware of. None of my firearms are registered, yet all legal to posses and carry.

Several places in the story it says the gunman was killed, a fatal shooting etc, then the last paragraph say police took him into custody for questioning? Some trick! Or, are they talking about the armed customer? Poor reporting at best!

I used to do financial reports and was a sticker for perfection. My thought was if there was one mistake, how would you know anything else was correct?
