This will be the fate of many forms. Facebook is an impediment to serious discussion of gun issues. Facebook is a good platform in organizing events. Organizing events and serious discussion of gun issues are two different things. To me Facebook is nothing more than mob rule.

I hate facebook, I mean I really hate it. My wife uses it, and it's notifications screw any device it is on. She asked me to show her how to use ESfiles and every damn second the notifications would completely interfere with using any app. I had shut off notifications on her tablet, evidently she turned them back on. Honestly I don't understand how she can use that thing like that. IMO facebook is a disease, myspace seemed to be much better just because it did not seem so intrusive. Facebook is like Asian Carp in a river, if left unchecked they will destroy the river(internet).

From what I gather, the Mods over @ COGO left the building a maybe a year ago (?) without saying goodbye, and didn't even close the door behind them.
It could be something else -- like the site Owner/Admin/Mod or whoever passed-away (I hope not!) -- but it's not likely ALL those people did. So who knows...
COGO certainly is a mess and would take quite a while to get rid of all the spam that's accumulated there, and gotten worse.
