A day to pray

I think that it would be appropriate for us today to take a moment of silence. To first pray for those that are still grieving on this day, and that will for the rest of their lives, that they may have peace and comfort and contentment. Pray for those that would still wish to do us more harm, that they may realize the err of their ways and turn from them, and that they too may find true peace and comfort and contentment, which will surely not come from where they're currently seeking it. Pray for the leaders of the nation, that they may lead wisely and justly without compromising the integrity of the nation, without compromising the very values that we seek to defend. Pray that throughout times like these we will be guarded against being taken advantage of with emotionalism, that we'll be guarded against those that would like to take advantage of tragedy to further their own selfish agendas. Pray for peace.
