WOW, such grandstanding by the anti's. There is no logic to their counterpoints. Durbin is an a$$hat AND he's grandstanding. Makes me sick. LaPierre looks frustrated but is keeping his composure.

Pushing for more laws......:banghead: WTF!

They're missing the damn point. LaPierre is trying to keep them on point, but using masacres to push their agenda is the rule of engagment.

The deaths of the 20 kids in CT is squarely upon GOV'T officials, not guns.

They had a GLASS DOOR ! Anyone could gain entry easy enough.

No consideration of security at the school was given regarding the easy entry into the building.

Who's to blame for that? The gov't officials.

The only one to blame is the killer. We do not want a government that has the authority to "do whatever it takes to prevent crime."

The hearings will involve politicians and lawyers, neither of which can be trusted to be honest and fair. It is a show and it will only serve to stir up emotions where emotions are unnecessary. If the facts directed us to take a certain action, emotional pleas would not be needed.

I disagree. The government should be blamed too, but not for not doing enough to prevent crime, instead for doing things that created circumstances that promoted violent crime. They disarmed the people who could have defend the children and possibly saved some or all of their lives.

I'm absolutely stunned at the blatant ignorance, grandstanding and outright lies.

To make some of those statements, especially when the comment, "had it been a ten round magazine, that little girl would be alive".

Excuse me, the magazine nor the bullets nor the gun killed that little girl.

I'm incensed by this whole thing.
