I'm confused...

Washington Constitution:
ARTICLE I
SECTION 4 RIGHT OF PETITION AND ASSEMBLAGE.
The right of petition and of the people peaceably to assemble for the common good shall never be abridged.

Every group larger than X amount of people has to get a permit. PETA, ANTIFA, etc. Has nothing to do with 2A. They won't stop you, they just want to schedule groups for different days so they can have their rally without any group interfering with each others message.

Gee, I don't see anything in the "Right of Petition" that the right needs to be scheduled with the government. Not a word about petitioning on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, or on a day that satisfies the government liking.

Can you point that out to me?

The expression of the First Amendment can be, in certain circumstances, restricted by "time, place, and manner."
Time, place and manner restrictions are content-neutral limitations imposed by the government on expressive activity. For a quick discussion on this, go here.

Prosecuting for free assembly is quite difficult.

It appears one source shows there was a very sparse turn out in Oly at yesterday’s Capital advocacy rally!
https://www.kiro7.com/news/photos-gun-rights-rally-held-in-olympia/906600976

https://www.kiro7.com/video?videoId=906703702&videoVersion=1.0

Newspeek picked some amazing [sarcasm] people to interview for their live report.

[interesting to note WAGUN forum didn’t mention the rally at all but Northwest did with minimal thread hits.]

Of further curosity, Women and guns w/DaveW contributing 19 Jan 2019 stated, 2.5K attending the rally and their article posted a lead in foto showing advocates posing on the steps during of a bright sunshiny environment in t-shirts and such while KIRO’s shows fotos of advocates bundled up on the steps on a normal WA cool dark dreary overcast day. https://www.womenandguns.com/washington-capitol-rally-draws-2500-gunowners/

Soooo Dave, want to clarify points in your contributed article in Women and guns where you state 2,5 attended and further state was organized by by a 26-year-old expectant mother and college student, Tessa Ashley, and gun rights activist Allen Acosta; yet The Olympian states, “The event is organized by the Gun Rights Coalition...” and KIRO shows meager attendance?
