Man Arrested In Texas For... Open Carry

https://kvia.com/news/crime/2022/11/25/man-seen-openly-carrying-a-rifle-in-far-east-el-paso-earlier-this-month-arrested/?fbclid=IwAR1mULVNx5z9aYv4bGJWXPvIHL-gFeaxv4L18w0SYvarLF3uu5Kz4ssmHP0 So much for Texas being an "open carry state". The tyrants there apparently have not got the memo.

Open Carry is legal around the country

Just as I'm breathing new life into this thread ;-) ... I believe the Bruen decision will breathe new life into the fight against the ban on open carry in a handful of states. Florida's "gun-rights-friendly" politicians should have fixed this years ago. Will they do it when they convene...

Atlanta Botanical Garden / GA Supreme Court Gun Rights Case Decision!

This tax case will now be heard by the original Fulton County judge that heard the 2014 Georgia Carry v. Atlanta Botanical Garden case, at the request of the attorneys for the defendants. I probably will not be surprised with how she rules, but maybe could be. I predict this may be another one...

The City of Atlanta and Fulton County are now being sued by two property owners (I'm not one of them), for failing to collect ad valorem tax from the Garden. Great Win at the U.S. Supreme Court for the Second Amendment!

Perhaps there will soon be new successful challenges to existing infringements now that the new standard is the historical context. https://pursuitofpatriotism.blogspot.com/2022/06/second-amendment-supreme-court-decision.html

sidebar regard LE response in latest incident...

When state lawmakers generally criminalize armed defense by citizens in K-12 schools knowing they are soft targets, and knowing that law-enforcement is subject to abject failure in mass shooter situations, they have blood on their hands in my view...

Georgia Carry Challenges Atlanta Falcons Gun Ban at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

It was an Atlanta Falcons spokesperson regarding the Atlanta Falcons position only, just as presented by 11Alive News. It is not the position of the GWCCA, nor was it even implied as such. The GWCCA is looking into this themselves. Does nothing pass any muster for you? It's all just BS? LOL!

RCW 9.41.300(b) Concealed Carry in Stadiums (yes, again)

My post regarding HB 1015 was about Washington State. I'm in Georgia, but was curious if any progress had been made there.

RCW 9.41.300(b) Concealed Carry in Stadiums (yes, again)

Many apologies for bringing back a musty, zombie thread. Hopefully, it can be put back down soon. In the 2017-2018 legislative session, three Republicans sponsored HB 1015 which was supposed to put a stop to private entities leasing public property for public events, and then claiming they...
