Lobby Day 2020: The Don "Peter Nap" Litton Memorial Latrine

Among the hundreds of pictures published from Lobby Day 2020, none provoked more thought and recollection for me than these. It saddens me to consider how our friend Don would be feeling were he here to be fighting alongside us today, but I suppose it was folks like him who helped to delay that...

    Fredericksburg man convicted of brandishing

Everyone judges for themselves of course, but when I see the gun-haters and their puppet media attacking VCDL for everything they do, well, let's just say it gives me warm fuzzies. Those folks are way too smart to waste resources attacking ineffective enemies. TFred

    Fredericksburg man convicted of brandishing

Almost 900 words to insult me and specifically avoid answering the question. Let's try again. Where would we be today if not for the NRA? Do you actually hold the position that because of early involvement of the NRA in some of those cases you mention that the state of our right to keep and...

    Fredericksburg man convicted of brandishing

You really must live in a box. Do you really think that the measely $25 a pop is the primary goal of VCDL membership? Absurd. It's all about influence, and the ability to wield that influence upon the legislators and the public narrative. I suppose you hate the NRA as well, but where do you...

    Fredericksburg man convicted of brandishing

I didn't quote anything from VCDL. And yeah, if you aren't monitoring social media, then you are in a box. But that's not even what I was talking about. VCDL has been covered in probably dozens of news stories over the past few weeks, PVC has been interviewed all over the place, and...

GunSenseUS Threatening PA Sheriffs if They Don’t Disclose Confidential License to Carry Firearms Applicant Information

And you completely miss the point of my reply. No sir, it is YOU who tried to pick the fight with ME. Clearly you had issues with the article, so why did you choose the snarky path with the unintelligible "TFred, could please point to the paragraph in the letter that threaten Sheriffs to...

GunSenseUS Threatening PA Sheriffs if They Don’t Disclose Confidential License to Carry Firearms Applicant Information

Your post is unintelligible, I can only guess at what you are intending to ask. The answer to the question I am assuming you are asking is yes, I could, but I choose not to. I posted an article of interest to the readers in Pennsylvania, using the title that was provided with the article. If...

Does anyone know what happened to the Virginia1774 website?

There's a web archive, but it's a bit painful to navigate, because the links inside the top page do not get automatically mapped to the archive space. I did find the page I was looking for, about the Virginia Supreme Court ruling that the law's definition of courthouse is limited to only those...

Does anyone know what happened to the Virginia1774 website?

On a sad note, I found out what happened to Mr. DiGiacinto. "Rudolph “Rudy” DiGiacinto passed away unexpectedly February 20th, 2013." He was 50 years old. I sure wish someone had a copy of his former web page, there was a ton of very good stuff there. TFred...

E.D.Va.: In an open carry state, more than presence of a gun is required for RS, and here the officers had it. John Wesley Hall

This was probably an unpublished opinion (and I'm not sure, maybe all District court opinions are unpublished?) But from the article we see that it doesn't really matter, as the subject opinion is merely quoting an earlier ruling from the 4th Circuit, which likely IS published. (I didn't take...

I forgot about this thread. Indeed the local case was dismissed when the Commonwealth's Attorney declined to continue with her prosecution. Mr. Wolff's original conviction is wiped clean. I don't have any additional info on the federal complaint. TFred
