Thats demoncrats anywhere. They want us to be like the UK or Australia. I recommend an aggressive email, phone and even snailmail barrage aimed at state reps, senators and the governor.

Nope.........no.....not!

I am not locking up my guns, they will stay loaded and ready against any threats foreign or domestic, including but not limited to, para-military, police, or criminal attacks on my person, family, or property without JUST cause! Remembering that JUST cause is a matter of perception!

gutshot II has been breathing fire of late, he will fry that bill.

KC3 will certainly keep an eye on this bill, but I doubt it will take a lot of work to see this thing go down in flames. There has been a bill like this every session for the last several years. There were some slight difference in those bills from year to year, but they all share one characteristic. They were all sponsored by legislators from Jefferson Co. Gerald Neal had last year's version and this year its Jim Wayne, both extreme liberal Democrats.

Louisville Metro has wanted this kind of law for decades. In fact, they wanted one so badly that they passed an illegal Metro Ordinance to that effect in 1999. That ordinance was an obvious violation of KRS 65.870 (the old, original version) and KRS 82.082, and it was ruled to be just that in an opinion by the office of the Ky. Attorney General in OAG 99-10 in December of 1999. That ordinance was invalidated by that AG's opinion and was repealed in early 2000. The Attorney General at that time was Ben Chandler, also a Democrat, but Ben was the old fashioned, Ky. type of Democrat.

None of the bills introduced in previous years have ever been given a committee hearing, even with the Dems in charge of the House. I doubt that the political climate in Frankfort has now improved for this type of bill.

If these damn tards want me to lock my guns up, then they can buy me a safe and have it installed. Until then, my guns stay just how they are, out and loaded.
