I appreciate that Senator Black was willing to make the connection to the press' favorite part of the US Constitution, the 1st Amendment. They all need to be respected.

Mommies are crying...
Deeds voted for expanded gun rights - Guess he wants to remain a Senator from Rockbridge/Bath Counties.

Yeah, well, I don't read the Washington Pravda, gave it up decades ago - used to make money delivering it, though, while I was in high school. That's how I learned to get up early in the morning. Other than that, it's been useless.

many years ago...

I do remember G. Gordon Liddy commenting that the words "Washington" and "Post" when uttered in conjunction were a known obscenity.

I read both the NY Times and the Washington Post and the WAPO is far better than New York!

For example:

"The folly of the New York Times pleading for gun control on page 1"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...front-page-but-does-that-even-help-the-cause/

This made me laugh! When I was in college, I had a job as a courier, for which I had to get up REAL early, especially in the summers, due to the route I drove.

All I learned was that I hate getting up early in the morning!

Go to bed late enough and you won't have to get up early. :p
