Presume you read the provided link.

Major tenants with separate entrances generally operate with their own rules.

If they allowed legally carried guns before (sure that they did) than I can't imagine any expansion would change that.

Am I missing something?

i went in through sears once (they dont have a sign and as soon as i left sears i was met by security and told to leave as carrying a weapon inside the MOA is illegal.

You must have exited Sears into the common area, rather than returning directly to the parking lot.

I will defer to those that have better knowledge of your local/state situation.

Here's the deal...

Mall of America bans guns. They have non-compliant signs at Mall entrances and at the exits from the anchor stores.

This ban is unenforceable by MN Statues (624.714) because they are a landlord.

The mall also has the "friendliness" policy, where they can eject you for just about any reason they want. Bloomington police does have a substation there and will enforce trespass requests.

Security guards are seldom experts in the law, there is absolutely nothing illegal about carrying at the mall. They can however trespass you out for just about any reason they want.

They have no authority inside of the stores themselves, but store agents can request their assistance.

You have not broken any law by carrying at the mall, but if you want to avoid the hassle, concealed is concealed.
Remember per MN law, you have to leave if asked by a business' authorized agent.

so technically if bass pros builds that store thats being said will make Cabela's Flag Ship store look like a can of Vienna Sausages then technically you could carry there just fine as long as you darted past retarded children with tazers and came out the other side unscathed?

You can carry anywhere (except prohibited places) signs or not. (Signs are literally worthless). It only becomes a petty misdemeanor when you are asked to leave and you don't. ($25 ticket, no arrest, no confiscation)

If they have a private entry, you have nothing to worry about.

Inside the mall, dodge Paul Blart, and you'll be fine. If you decided to OC, there's still nothing illegal, you're chances of getting trespassed out just goes up.

I especially love how MOA has a Dollar Tree. Like I can't go to another one and not have to park a quarter mile away.

I'm sure the LEOs in the PD by Underwater world or whatever its called now will be willing to add a few lines to their reports if you do choose to OC. It is Minneapolis, is it not?
