“A 22-year-old man found himself facing a summons after he told officers he fired his shotgun repeatedly upon finding masked suspects leaning in his window.” Huh? But the Vice President of these here U-Nited States said firing warning shots with a shotgun is the sine qua non in home defense strategy.

The courts should have a ball with this. Wonder how Joe feels about open carry?

I need a play bill to keep the "Joe"s straight.

AK Joe, Shogun Joe, and GI Joe - all cartoonish characters. Take them at face value for what they are........worthless.

Please don't mistake Joe Biden for the guvmint....he's an escaped loon from the nuthouse.

If I can shoot a single barrel pump twice and have the same effect?

I better send Idiot Joe an email for clarification.

As stupid as we might feel the young man facing a summons is for this behavior, wasn't he doing what the vice president said you should do? After all the vice president is next in line to the "leader of the free world". Wouldn't that position hold some clout when it comes to determining what is right and what is wrong? Wouldn't "the vice president of the United States said to do this" be a good defense? Not really expecting an answer, I'm just thinking aloud.

I'd love to see this used as a defense. Seriously.

Me too, I mean if I was on a jury hearing this case and the defending attorney asked the court to state what did the accused do, and upon hearing the reply submitted as evidence the video of no less a person than the vice president of the USA basically stating that someone should fire some warning shots with a shotgun, I would need no further convincing that the accused be aquitted

I believe there is a defense called entrapment by estoppel.

It is where you are told by someone supposedly in a position to know, that what you were considering is perfectly legal.

User can tell you what it really means.:uhoh:
